Uninstall Play Store from computer (BlueStacks)
On BlueStacks, you cannot uninstall the Play Store as it is connected with the software installation roots. You can, however, uninstall the Bluestacks app the your computer.
Open your Windows Start Menu and type “Uninstall”. The option can vary from device to device. It can be named
– “Modify or Uninstall software”;
– “Uninstall a software”;
– “Uninstall an application to free space on the Hard Disk”;
– And many other names.
Open the said option and look for the BlueStacks software.
Click on it and, after it, click on Uninstall. You can follow the uninstallation process inside the software itself.
Uninstall Play Store from Android devices
As our job here is to help you more than anything, we have to make some observations about the uninstalling process itself, as it is quite dangerous to realize if you are not an experienced user.
As an alternative, we will show you a process that is as efficient as to uninstall the application, but way safer.
Go to your menu and look for the Settings option. Open it;
Look for the Application Manager option. This is different from device to device. You maybe have to open a tab called General, for instance;
After opening the Application Manager option, look for the Play Store and then, click on it.
A page will open will with some information concerning the Google Play. On the top of the page, you will find two boxes: one named “Force Stop” and the other one named “Disable”. Click on the Disable option. This will, obviously, disable the Play Store and hide it from the main menu of your device.
The difference between the disable option and to uninstall the application is that, by disabling it, its files will still be accessible on your device, so the applications that might need said files can access them without any problem. However, if you uninstall the Google Play Store, those files will be gone, and if, by whatever reason, an application needs those files to work properly, it will not find them on your device, making the previous said application inoperable.
If anything in this process goes wrong, you may lose ALL of your files. So, a MUST-DO is: before starting the process, BACKUP ALL of your files.
Uninstalling the Play Store Google on your Android device can be a problem and the main reason of that is because almost all the applications offered by the Google Play Store are linked to the Play Store themselves, saving data and important inside the app suite cache. The process is called Root, and it basically makes the user able to access some hidden and deep features of the Android device they are aiming to root, such as system files and such.
There are many Root applications on the Play Store, and you can choose which one you want to download and use.
After downloading the Root app, follow its instructions in order to Root your device. After the rooting, you can download a Root File Manager, and, within it, uninstall the Google Play Store.
Again, this process is not 100% safe and you can damage some important files your device use.
Uninstall Play Store from Blackberry devices
The process you have to do on your Blackberry device is much simpler and does not involve any risks to your smartphone at all.
You just have to delete all the APK files you downloaded to install the Play Store on your device and, on your home screen, select the Google Play Store icon and, then, delete.
Be aware that some applications you installed using the Play Store can show a black bar at the bottom of the screen. This is normal. It indicates that you are using an Android-compatible application.
